Love Argerich as a person but I wish she wasn’t so fearful of the greatest works, which she clearly avoids playing in public (she has said as much regarding Beethoven, for instance). Imagine her in Beethoven’s Op. 97, or Schubert’s D. 929. To say nothing of their solo piano works, which she’ll never touch as we all know. Such a shame!
Wow!
Just wonderful.
Try their Mendelssohn!
You know why they can’t find Mozart’s grave?
Because he’s haydn.
This music wasn’t designed to bear the load of all that vibrato.
