King’s honours for Rutter and Wright
NewsIn today’s birthday honours, King Charles has bestowed well-deserved knighthoods on the church composer John Rutter and the outgoing BrittenPears chief Roger Wright, a former head of the BBC Proms and Radio 3.
The same honour is granted to the farmer Michael Eavis, who created the Glastonbury rock festival on his land, and to the investor Richard Greenhalgh, chair of trustees of British Youth Opera.
