Swiss orchestra switches baton
OrchestrasThe Freiburg Chamber Orchestra has replaced its founding conductor Laurent Gendre with Philipp Bach. Gendre has led the orchestra since its inception in 2009.

Freiburg im Breisgau is in Germany. Fribourg is in Switzerland.
Actually, the city is called Freiburg in German, but since it has a majority French speaking population it is normally referred to as Fribourg. And as you allude to, this prevents confusion with Freiburg im Breisgau:-)
Perhaps you meant “Fribourg”?
Not sure Freiburg is in Switzerland!
