The high point of the Lucerne Strings performance in Istanbul was a hightailed intervention by a local stray.

As soon as the cat saw there was no conductor, it quickened the tempo.

    After the “Pastoral” they performed an orchestral arrangement of Scarlatti’s “Cat” Fugue.

    We know that cats like to do ‘their business’ in a natural environment rather than in a cats’ litter box….. So, when they hear something about a landscape they go explore. You can see this cat is thinking: Hey? All wood here, no soil.
