Opera director sacked for violence has died
RIPCzech media are respectfully noting the death of LudekĀ Golat, former head of the Moravian-Silesian National Theatre.
He was 70.
Golat was fired in 2009 after he threw a salami at a singer’s face, knocking out several teeth.
There were also complaints about sex videos.
Golat went on to direct operas in Italy, Israel and elsewhere.
The moral of the story is, if you’re going to throw salami at someone’s face, make sure it’s fresh.
Wurst behavior possible.
