Czech media are respectfully noting the death of LudekĀ  Golat, former head of the Moravian-Silesian National Theatre.

He was 70.

Golat was fired in 2009 after he threw a salami at a singer’s face, knocking out several teeth.

There were also complaints about sex videos.

Golat went on to direct operas in Italy, Israel and elsewhere.

  • Vaughan says:

The moral of the story is, if you’re going to throw salami at someone’s face, make sure it’s fresh.

  • Robert Scharba says:

    Wurst behavior possible.
