Larry was a beloved mentor to countless graduate and undergraduate students at UC Santa Cruz, a wonderful composer and guitarist, and a genuinely nice and generous guy. He will be missed.
Sorry to hear about Larry passing. I have many fond memories studying with him and collaborating at the Center for Contemporary Music at Mills College in 1983. A great guy and a wonderful artist.
Larry was a wonderful friend, colleague and hiking companion during his time at Dartmouth. His creative spirit, humility and generosity will live on with those who were privileged to call him friend.
