Do you mean ‘the city’s music edification hub’, by any chance?
That’s a nice photo of the pipes of the Harrison & Harrison organ behind the grille. The patrons were quite enthusiastic about the refurbishment and return of the organ to the concert hall. I wish we had such enthusiasm for large concert hall pipe organs in New York.
Congratulations to Simon Wales. Hope he treats the musicians better than he did when at the LSO.
It will always be the Colston Hall for me.
I remember it as very unattractive with a poor view of the stage. The makeover makes it look just as bad, but no experience of a visit. Would anyone recommend it?
