OrchestrasIMG Artists has snapped up Bar Avni, winner of the 2024 La Maestra competition in Paris.
Avni, 34, will be looked after by Isabelle Cottet, with Kathryn Enticott consulting.

30 years ago they were calling out the affectedness of the title.
Maestra doesn’t mean
a female conductor. In Italy, Maestro means a teacher. Conductors are just called Maestro, doesn’t matter whether it is female or male. Maestra is misused in everywhere else.
