Job of the Week 

The countr yhouse opera is recruiting a Head of Front of House:

As Head of Front of House you will work closely with the Operations Director to ensure the delivery of an exceptional audience experience. You will play a pivotal role in the recruitment and training of seasonal Usher and Front of House staff roles.  

The primary purpose of the role is to oversee all front of house operations, drive performance, and cultivate a positive working environment conducive to delivering an exceptional experience.

We can offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum dependent on experience.

      “Per annum” probably means the pay is pro-rated and will be calculated at that annual rate for the weeks of work. It is not the seasonal fee.

        This is a big, full time, year round job. It recruits, plans, trains, implements systems, develops and tracks budgets, contributes to strategy. It is the top of the chain. It’s not the seasonal steward role which is paid close to min wage – those are actually the ‘greeter’s of the title here.
