Worst conductor meltdown since Tar?
OrchestrasFrom Peter Bradshaw’s Berlin Film Festival review of Lars Eidinger in Sterben:
… The film features that always formidable German actor Lars Eidinger as an orchestra conductor – and it will be no surprise that when he takes to the podium at the Berlin Philharmonic, it is the scene of the biggest and most embarrassing fiasco since Cate Blanchett’s fierce creation Lydia Tár had her own meltdown on the exact same spot two years ago.
Can’t wait.
Couldn’t come up with something original of their own?
Are conductor movies the next superhero movies?
No, because all conductor movies are a fiasco at the box office. Like classical music itself.
Sorry for your lack of culture–except for the bacterial variety.

[Your first sentence is correct. The other is unbalanced.]
They both make sense, so who cares.
the only time classical music goes viral in mainstream pop culture is when someone lets out an orgasmic shriek during a concert, or when a classical/opera artist is found schtupping a famous celebrity.
Oy vey gewalt! Some classical music goes viral without schtupping the soloist. Although it seemed to be common with tenors and conductors. After the me-too campaigns nobody dares to open a zipper in the vicinity of any breathing -dogs included- beings.
In Tar they didn’t use the Berlin Philharmonie, so among the irritations it was a similar looking but wrong hall (Dresden).
That’s not where the movie jumped the shark.
