A travesty and so embarrassing.
Sadly, Domingo doesn’t have the self-awareness to know that it is time to stop singing. That, coupled with the sexual abuse allegations *(that I have no problem believing), how can any opera fans give him an ounce of credibility?
Wonder what the reaction will be to the Two Tenors “Legends Together Again” tour in Australia in March? The last Three Tenors concerts were more than 20 years ago and already by that time descending into travesty. One I attended in the summer of 2001 had Carreras vocally struggling. And how are Domingo’s top notes now that he is well into his 80s? This Australian tour has to be nothing but purely a money-making venture. I cannot believe it will have any artistic merit. Hopefully someone down under will post reactions.
