Toulon Opera names music director
OperaToulon Opera has created a position of music director for Victorien Vanoosten, a former assistant of Daniel Barenboim. He starts immediately.
Jérôme Brunetière, General and Artistic Director of the Toulon Opera says: ‘The creation of a musical director position will allow to accompany the development of the Orchestra and its ambitions by relying on the talent and enthusiasm of the musicians. The Opera de Toulon is very honored by the confidence Victorien Vanoosten gives it by accepting this position.’
Vanoosten is managed by Munich-based Felsner Artists.
