Notre Dame builds organ in Belgium
NewsBrussels media are reporting that local organ builder Johan Deblieck has been commissioned to build a supplementary organ for Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris.
The two main organs in the edifice survived relatively unscathed in the devastating 2019 fire, but a small box organ was destroyed and a new one is needed for choir accompanient and the like.
The cathedral is scheduled to reopen in December this year.
