RIPWe have been notified of the sad death of Glen Adsit, Director of Bands at the Hartt School since the year 2000 and a copious comissioner of new music.
Composers who benefitted from his patronage included Corigliano, Schwantner, Bolcom, Dougherty, Chen Yi, Zhou Long, Susan Botti, and hos own partner, Shuying Li.
His last recording session, a few weeks back, was a new work by Ms. Li, Luminance.
