Good to see music taking centre stage with that photo.
Every bit as good as Alondra 23:29

Lol. I trust you were indeed joking…
“S*x sells”. And the musical profession where it is so easy to be an impostor, it was just the question of time where it would be coming. Who cares about music these days, anyway.
Wow, sourpuss. She looks lovely. She’s attending a fancy function, and not on the podium. How exactly should she be dressed for “music to take centre stage” in this capacity?
Surprise surprise, she’s signed with Gražinyte-Tyla‘s agent. I’m not quite sure why Norman has such an obsession with her but it seems to have spilled over into every corner of this tawdry little site.
Grow up, jack wagons. It’s a gown with a high neck, long sleeves and a slit. Not her fault she’s pretty. Judge her on musicianship. I played for her and she was quite good. We will see.
This picture is from an orchestra gala that she wasn’t conducting. She is a very talented conductor and a true professional. One of the best young talents I’ve played for over the past 50 years.
Saw Ms. Gallo conduct for the first time last night and she was wonderful, leading a chamber program of Debussy, Hindemith and Rachmaninoff. And her remarks to the audience were charming and intelligent. I expect she will have a long and rewarding career. I just hope the Florida Orchestra can hang onto her for awhile.
It is sad to see half of this comment section commenting on what she is wearing. Why are we not celebrating that women are finally making a name for themselves in a profession that has been solely dominated by men for years? Do better.
