  • Henry Cohen says:

On April 5, 2019, Mr. Lebrecht posted, “LEBRECHT LISTENS | New Album By Anastasia Kobekina Is The Record Of The Year (So Far),” writing, “I don’t care what happens in the next eight months. This is my record of the year for 2019.” He found the performance of Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1 “neither here nor there,” but he found the performance of Weinberg’s Fantasy for Cello & Orchestra “simply gripping” and “an indispensable addition to the cello repertoire.”

At the risk of everyone here hating me I’m gonna go ahead and say I don’t think she’s a big deal. Oh, good old days, when it was all about the sound and not about looking good or putting up a show on stage

  • Paolini says:

No one knows what good playing is anymore so it’s all up for grabs by the pretty people. Can you imagine Radu Lupu on instagram?

  • another says:

I just saw her on YT. Very rough tone, bad intonation and could not keep the tempo. However, luscious hair, pretty face and tons of tiktoks and instagrams. So she’s good.
