Last weekend, the machinists shut down Nutcracker.

Next week, it’s the turn of the dancers. They are complaining about rehearsal times.

Your chance of seeing anything except pickets if you go to the Opéra is currently no higher than 50%.

  • Anthony Sayer says:

What’s the French for ‘plus ça change’?

  • OwnTheMeans says:

Solidarity with all workers and death to the aristocracy and corporate oligarchs.

  • Daniel Martins says:

The French do not want to solve their very serious problems and their constant striking and demonstrating is just a way for them to ignore their sad reality that they are among the most unprepared for the current world realities and are an outdated and archaic society unable to adapt, unable to innovate in any significant way and hiding behind methods of expressing displeasure and wanting change better suited for past centuries. In France there is no dialogue, only primitive outbursts, violent demonstrations, shouting, insulting, but NO dialogue.
The question is, how long can they continue on with this same repetitive behaviour, without results, before the entire ship sinks?
