His on-line profile indicates that he received the conducting degree in 2005.

  • Doug says:

Let’s hope he wields a sharpened axe. Reno Phil needs a new music director.

  • David Hyslop says:

Aaron has served as Vice President and General Manager of the Grand Rapids Symphony since 2019. In addition Aaron was on the staff of the Washington National Opera for 14 years.
Over those years, he’s been involved in all areas of performing arts management .
Both Laura Jackson, Music Director of the Reno Philharmonic
and myself, as the interim CEO of the Reno Philharmonic, are pleased to have him come on board as he has a tremendous amount of experience and with positive results .

Is this REALLY a news item?! The Reno Phil is a micro step above a volunteer community orchestra.

  • HReardon says:

Your ignorance is palpable. As a businessman and pianist that resided, contributed to and enjoyed life and culture inN. Nevada for 3 decades I can attest that there is a serious and constantly evolving classical music continues to thrive. Two professional orchestras and world class chamber music festival(s) attract audiences and performers from far and wide. You know what you can do with your assinine comment.
