Shakeup at English Chamber Orchestra
OrchestrasAfter a dozen years without a titled musical leader, the ECO has appointed the Spaniard Roberto Forés Veses as Principal Guest Conductor, effectively its figurehead. He is the former music director of the Orchestre National d’Auvergne.
The ECO has also upgraded Stephanie Gonley to Leader And Principal, recognising her 32-year contribution in the hot seat.
