Rescue bid for German music magazine
NewsWe hear that the German record magazine Fono Forum, which was about to close, has been sold to its former editor.
Here’s the statement:
FUNKE’s Reiner H. Nitschke Verlag sells the traditional title FONO FORUM to Jaron Verlag. Jaron Managing Director Dr. Arnt Cobbers is an intimate expert on the title; he headed the FONO FORUM editorial team from 2015 to 2020. The first issue under Jaron’s direction will be published with issue number 2/24 in January next year. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
