  • Zandonai says:

I hear it’s a bad Jenufa production with a good cast. Hope to hear Davidsen sing Strauss’ Four Last Songs someday.

    • Chilynne says:

Production isn’t as bad as the reviewers claimed. Cast was superlative – Davidsen & Stemme especially! Well, some of the male leads seemed uncomfortable with the size of the house.

  • Isam Nasr says:

I am glad I was able to see her on opening night. A truly stunning performance that will be in my memory for a long time. We all hope to see Lise Davidsen in Chicago again soon

  • Una says:

Wish her well with her emergency. Never sounds good when that happens.

  • Vince says:

What a wonderful opportunity for Ms. Henry. Sorry, I’m not very familiar with Jenufa. But being a Janacek work, I imagine the role could be very challenging. All the best to you, and the Lyric Opera!

  • GCMP says:

For the record Kathryn Henry did quite well. But it was disappointing not to have Lise Davidsen of course.
