Is this a tornedo? Three Rossini operas in a day
OperaFor those Slippedisc readers who are new to opera this is an opportunity to discover three comic jewels by Rossini – live in the company of someone who can tell viewers a thing or two about what is going on. OperaVision host Mia Mandineau will be the guide throughout the day, starting at 14:00 CET / 1300 London/ 0800 NY, keeping audiences informed and entertained as they discover a wonderful range of comic characters – from assertive heroines to scheming tenors and foolish old men – all colourful party guests with whom to mark the day that celebrates opera across the world. The programme runs from early afternoon until late evening.

Not sure really how it’s spelt but there is a very excellent dish called Turnedos (?) Rossini!
