Who ever runs this page must clearly be bored…

  • Drobin07 says:

    Mr. Lebrecht,

You may not like Mr. Hogle or the way he runs CIM (which I know nothing about) but that is no reason for gratuitous sneers at his faith.

    • HReardon says:

I second your statement. Open mindedness is not one of N.L.’s hallmarks.

    • Teddy says:

Agreed, there are plenty of much better reasons for mocking his faith. In addition, it would take someone of skin so thin as to be translucent to take offense at the extremely mild commentary in this post.

    • Anon says:

Sneering at fake-humble attention-seeking hocus-pocus god talk is always warranted, and most reasonable people are sick of it seeing it treated reverentially, especially when it’s coming from someone who voted for Trump.

  • Moenkhaus says:

Either morbidly tone-deaf or knows he’s already gone.

  • Larry says:

Mr. Hogle has every right to promote his wife’s book.

  • Robert says:

And look, Mr. Lebrecht took time out for a petty personal jab, which, perhaps unintentionally, helps promote Paul Hogle’s wife’s new book. Despite motive, it’s nice to see a little good emerge from such a cheap shot.

  • Hater for the right reasons says:

We don’t have to hate on Paul Hogle for his religion. There are PLENTY of other reasons to hate on him though

  • KZ says:

Mrs. Hogle has suffered immense physical and emotional pain over the past year due to a health condition and has coped, in part, by writing a book centered in her faith. That he is proud of her achievements is completely warranted.
