Australian mezzo dies at 55
RIPWe have been notified of the death in a Sydney hospital, after a long illness, of the busy Australian opera and musical theatre singer Jacqueline Dark.
She was due to appear in Das Rheingold wit the Sydney Symphony Orchestra next month.
Australian tenor Kanen Breen (with whom Jacqui shared a son) said earlier today: ‘The love of her life was our boy Xander and, from the moment he existed, she did it all for him.’
