A Peruvian wins German Conducting Competition

The Stuttgart-based Peruvian musicians Dayner Tafur-Díaz has emerged as winner of the German Conducting Award 2023, taking both the 15,000 Euros first prize and the 3,000 Euros audience award.

Diaz, 24, previously won this year’s international opera competition in Liège.

    I’m sure he’s very talented, but gosh isn’t there a better picture somewhere?? Popping eyes and gaping mouth, makes the poor guy look psychotic
