Vienna Phil replaces Franz in Japan
OrchestrasThe orchestra has named a substitute for its November tour of Japan, after Franz Welser-Möst withdrew for cancer treatment.
The tour will be taken over by Tugan Sokhiev.
Chairman Daniel Froschauer has expressed his special gratitude to Tugan Sokhiev and the Staatskapelle Dresden for making this change possible. He also appreciates the understanding of the NHK Symphony Orchestra (Japan).
Look liks a lot of other dates had to be unscrambled.
