Czech mate takes Prague orchestra
OrchestrasThe next music director of the Prague Symphony Orchestra, from 2025, will be the Czech conductor Tomáš Netopil.
The press release says: ‘He will succeed his great colleague, present Chief Conductor of the orchestra, Tomáš Brauner.’
Terrific conductor. How lucky are some of our colleagues in Prague with Bychkov and Netopil!
And don’t forget Emmanuel Villaume with Prague Philharmonia.
Nor Petr Popelka at the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra
Yes. I don’t know Villaume, but I heard that Popelka is good.
As a matter of fact Prague Philharmonia still gives the best concerts in Prague as it has been since 20+ years ago.
