Sudden death of RPO chair
RIPThe Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has announced the sudden death of long-serving double-bass Gareth Wood, its chair in the turbulent 1990s. Gareth was 73.
In recent years, he composed successfully for brass bands.

Gareth’s funeral will take place at 3pm on Friday 22 September at Glyntaff Crematorium, Cemetary Road, Glyntaff, Pontypridd, CF374BE
