Philippines pick Polish chief conductor
OrchestrasThe Cultural Center of the Philippines has appointed Grzegorz Nowak to be music director and principal conductor of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra.
Nowak, 71, former music director of the Polish National Opera, has a long involvement with the Royal Philharemonic Orchestra in London.
