Mourning in the Malgoire family
RIPThe French early-music dynasty has suffered the loss of Florence Malgoire, baroque violin concertmaster to her father Jean-Claude Malgoire’s Grande Écurie et la Chambre du Roy. Florence was 63. She died in hospital in Marseille.
She is mourned by her husband, the writer and violist Hervé Mestron, their two sons and her many students at the Geneva conservatoire.

So soon after her father! A sad loss indeed.
