Irish pianist, 18, drowns
RIPThe body of Sean Shannon from Ennis has been recovered from a lake in Slovenia, hours after he was reported missing in the town of Bled.
Sean, who was 18, recently featured in a three-part RTÉ programme on students and teachers at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
In a statement today, the Royal Irish Academy of Music described him as ‘a kind, talented and dedicated student who quickly became a much-loved and integral part of RIAM student life’.
Rest in peace, young man. And prayers for his family and friends.
