Eighth Blackbird cellist lands professorship
OrchestrasThe University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music has appointed Nick Photinos as Professor of Chamber Music and Eminent Scholar.
Photinos is co-founder of the chamber ensemble Eighth Blackbird. He says: ‘Eighth Blackbird formed at Oberlin, but we became professionals at CCM’.
