Sarah Bernhardt gets her theatre back
NewsThe Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo has decided that the expensively renovated Théâtre de la Ville will reopen in September 9 under its original name, Théâtre Sarah-Bernhardt.
It took the name of the great actress after she performed there in 1899 and was since renamed three or four times for political reasons.
