We are advised that Karina Canellakis, chief conductor of Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, has given birth to a girl, her second child. Congratulations to the whole family.

      Always wondering about the deplorable lowlife types giving congratulations and well wishes for childbirth,recovery from a serious illness ,etc.a thumbs down. The situation they need it might be nearer for them then they think….

    Her pregnancy prevented her from filling her May dates with the NY Phil. She is scheduled for next season.
