  • Jan Kaznowski says:

thanks for this link. The Argerich Schumann is spectacular – and Barenboim clearly fighting his illness

  • Peteresq says:

It would be nice if the Berliners would join the other orchestras on the Symphony app. Perhaps they have too much invested in their own programing.

  • Foster Beyers says:

Has anyone noticed that the concert with Klaus Makela has not been posted in the archive of the Digital Concert Hall. They just seemed to have skipped it altogether.

    • Sonicsinfonia says:

It is strange. Maybe Mäkelä didn’t agree the digital media clause in the standard BPO contract. Possibly it would have been a clash with his other commercial recording plans.

      • Lila says:

Isn’t Mäkelä part of Decca? I seem to recall an issue with Lise Davidsen being shown in the DCH as well. If I remember correctly, they didn’t even show the livestream of her performance but eventually resolved the issue and it’s now available. Looks like Decca doesn’t like their stars to be recorded elsewhere.

      • Harpist says:

Maybe give it some time? I noticed they need time to edit concerts and its not immediately available after the concert

  • Sonicsinfonia says:

Slightly misleading. One playlist of selected performances extracted from selected concerts has been made available free of charge.
