Sad loss of an English livewire
RIPThe Times reports that Fran Hickox, founder of Cornwall’s St Endellion Festival and second wife of the late conductor Richard Hickox, died six weeks ago of cancer. Fran was 72.
A percussionist by vocation, she helped Hickox form the City of London Sinfonia. Ahead of their 1990 divorce she became a valuer and auctioneer for Christies.
