Pollini and Barenboim cancel Paris
NewsThe Italian pianist, 81, invalided out of last summer’s Salzburg Festival with a heart ailment, has cancelled his May 4 concert at the Philharmonie de Paris for health reasons.
Daniel Barenboim, 80, has cancelled the previous night at the Philharmonie.
No replacement programme has been published.
Ahemmm..It’s Maurizio Pollini, not his son.
Daniele Pollini would be an excellent replacement for both recitals. He is great!
Go end listening your Crap noise.
They say music doesn’t have age. But for human, whatever one’s talent one always has the constrain of age. I do wish them well. I would like to beg them to retire from performing in public. They should 光榮地在家安享晚年,不要再辛苦自己, 讓些晚輩担负起他们的工作罷!
Old people, playing old music, for other old people.
Yes, there’s quite a bit of truth to this comment!!
If you don’t listen to these old people you don’t know what you’re missing.
I’ve seen Pollini twice in recital in Vienna so, trust me, I do know what I’m missing!!! (Hint: it’s not much)
Only if you assume that what you saw is what you missed, which you can’t since you missed it.
I loved Bach when u was a teenager and the Beethoven symphonies
A childish comment from someone obviously too young to know better. Perhaps time will encourage discernment – and humanity.
