The Met’s 20k singing prize has six winners

The tenor Anthony León, mezzo-soprano Natalie Lewis, soprano Teresa Perrotta, mezzo-soprano Sarah Saturnino, bass-baritone Christian Simmons and soprano Meredith Wohlgemuth were named last night as winners of the 2023 Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition.

Each takes home $20,000 and lots of promises.
