Japanese conductor wins Solti award
OrchestrasThe Sir Georg Solti Conducting Award for 2023, worth $30,000, has been given to Keitaro Harada, a Japanese musician who has previously received career advancement awards from the organisation.
Harada, 38, is music director of the Savannah Philharmonic in the state of Georgia. Heis also Associate Conductor of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.
