Fazioli mourns its tuner in Milan

It was with great sadness that I heard this morning of the sudden death last night of our dear Davide Lupatelli, the piano technician of Fazioli Pianos in Milan and before that in Perugia. A great believer in the Fazioli dream, a huge support to so many artists who played them, and a lovely person. Davide worked for us at the Trasimeno Music Festival before he transferred to Milan, and also once after that. He was at so many of my recitals in Italy over the years, always very attentive and doing a great job. I know Mr. Fazioli and all at the Fazioli factory are very shocked and sad at his sudden death. This is the last photo we have together–taken backstage at the Conservatorio in Milan in 2022, when it was still necessary to mask up. Plus a photo taken at the festival with Mr. Fazioli on the left, and Patrizia Cavalletti in the middle. We will miss you, dear Davide!
