The Russian energy giant Gazprom has recruited a private army to fight alongside failing Russian forces in Ukraine.

Yesterday, a Gazprom unit known as PMC Potok, got into a firefight with the Wagner Group, which is supposedly fighting on the same side.

Wagner mercenaries complained loudly on social media.

Gazprom has been the principal sponsor (pictured) of the Greek-Russian conductor Teodor Currentzis, who is still being engaged by useful idiots in the music business in Germany and Austria. They should be aware of the bloodstains on his contract.

Gazprom is one of the biggest companies in the world. Some there must think that there will be a time after war where they’ll again be able to sell their gas to Europe again. If this is true that they have set up an own army… well, it seems unlikely. But, who knows. Everything you hear in a war could be true, or it could be a lie.

You can see more videos here – including ones made by Gazprom troops – in case you still doubt:

Nothing can be believed on the internet now that AI is simulating in the most realistic and terrifying way possible the words and images of others.

      “Potok” has been widely reported.

    • Jean says:

Actually, Prigozhin himself talks about the Gazprom army in a 30-minute interview posted on Friday on Telegram: https://t.me/brussinf/5885

“In a 30-minute interview published on Telegram late Friday, Prigozhin described conversations with members of Potok. (…) At the same time, according to Prigozhin, salaries in Potok are so high that if the same amount was paid by other mercenary companies, “the country would fall apart.””

      Serge;

If BOTH the Russian media and the Western media talk about it, what else do you need ? – The Chinese media?

      • Serge says:

        Dear Jean,

thank you for sources. Now, I’m not sure if I would trust Prigozhin as a source. Do you normally trust him?

As for the first video, it is clear that it’s a voice over, it could be any video with someone’s voice over… well, you might be right. I find little info in media, it seems like the Gazprom link has only emerged on news sites over the last few days, I guess we’ll see what happens.

  • Alan says:

I take it you have the documents to prove they are paying him?

Your continuing ad hominem attacks on the man are a disgrace

  • Sue Sonata Form says:

Gazprom isn’t the only corporate involved in the world of propaganda, power and deploying useful idiots who interfere in politics. It is their schtick right now to set moral standards in the western world. Or, at least, that’s what they think.

    • Hugo Preuß says:

I quite like he idea of two gangs of Russian mercenaries fighting each other instead of fighting Ukraine. Now, if they could only do it on Russian territory instead of in Ukraine…
