All of these conductors and conductoressas are beautiful people. There is no “blind” audition process in place to hire conductors and I think that needs to be in place ASAP!
    Seriously though…
What people look like from the/to the audience may be paramount.
If we get rid of pronouns and sexuality our imaginations will still run wild toward what we find attractive.
And Alondra and this guy are pretty people.
Btw have you seen the body on the Clarinet/conductor Otten-heimer-hottie?

  • Judy says:

Come on Naples – we have good conductors that are American!! SMDH.

  • Nina says:

    This is toooo much.

  • Sam McElroy says:

Also happens to be a fantastic conductor, excellent musician (and son of one, too), imaginative programmer, bespoke diplomat in a challenging political environment, committed educator, and erudite renaissance man who can be found skydiving in the morning, reading Steven Pinker at lunch, and conducting Walton or Walker in the evening. And a super nice guy, on top. (No, I’m not his agent!)

Or, as the first three brainboxes on this thread have informed us so wisely, “he’s pretty… non-american… and too much”. What would we do without our learned SD commentators to guide us?

  • Anthony Sayer says:

I’ve only heard good things about him as a musician and colleague. If he’s handsome to boot, well, why not?

  • NotToneDeaf says:
