The bass-baritone Ryan Speedo Green has been awarded the 2023 Beverly Sills Artist Award worth $50,000.
It’s the second time he was won it, the last being in January 2021 when the check was just $10,000.
Green has been singing at the Met regularly since 2012. He is presently appearing in Champion.
