Placido Domingo gave a recital on Tuesday in Palm Beach.

The piano accompanist was his reguar conductor Eugene Kohn.

Jennifer Rowley joined him in some aria, and in a little dance.

This appears to have been Domingo’s first US stage appearance since he was barred from US opera houses in 2019 following a ciritical legal report on allegations of sexual harrassment against females.

Domingo writes: Wonderful to be back performing in the good old 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏻😉❤️.

  • A.L. says:

Was the mafioso Donald Trump in attendance perhaps?

  • Sam says:

Cue the Florida Man jokes. There couldn’t be a more fitting location – a stone’s throw from Mar-a-Lago, in the heart of Ron DeSantis’s Flori-duh.

Would be interested to know why Jennifer Rowley cast her lot with him.

    • Anomalocaris says:

Well i guess she’s afraid to say no to him. Who dares to say no to Domingo knowing that he’s the boss? The fact that his secret coming out after so many years tells you how much power this guy has. And she doesn’t seem too comfortable around him either. It’s sad to see some houses still accept him despite the confirmation from the musical guild that he has done such things.

  • Lothario Hunter says:

Oh yes, yes – his octogenarian buddy Muti is also touring Florida this week!

The two buddies LOVE FLORIDA!! It is understandable, Florida has a lot to offer to octogenarians. Warm weather, and overall a smashing time.

Though this is just a coincidence obviously!

  • DanielaH says:

    Sad ending of a career.

    • CRogers says:

It’s clearly not the end of his career. He been performing since this trial by media. Grow up you fuckwit!

  • MMcGrath says:

I listened to the excerpt of the concert. Clearly an evening for the conoscenti. That noise he makes is just ghastly!! Has he perhaps lost his marbles?

Would that the disruptive nuts who destroyed the concert at the Concertgebouw had been present here.

  • Tom Phillips says:

Would probably be welcome at Mar-a-Lago as well as at “The Villages” with all of the rabid MAGA geriatrics.

    • Sue Sonata Form says:

Lots of money. What’s not to love??!! But poorwe people still have their woke. That’s fair.

  • Liliana Couto says:

  • Conifer says:

Even if he did all he is accused of doing, he remains one of the greatest tenors of the twentieth century, and overall among the greatest persons in the history of opera. His performances, including those still on the Met Opera site, are his legacy. Forgiveness remains a virtue.

    • Tiredofitall says:

Absolutely correct and well-stated, especially your final sentiment.

    • Tom Phillips says:

I take it you forgot about Caruso, Melchior, Pavarotti, Vickers, Bergonzi, Bjorling, Corelli etc. none of whom he can hold a candle to

  • Aleta says:

Hang it up Placido! Are you singing bass yet?
