The well-liked conductor and repetiteur (Robert) Andrew Greene died today of brain cancer, aged 66.

He conducted more than 60 productions and made numerous recordings.

    I worked with Andrew for a number of years at the old Victoria State Opera in Melbourne, and a more knowledgeable, talented and affable person you couldn’t hope to meet. This is so very sad, and a great loss. R.I.P Andrew
