Ukraine mourns a Soviet star
RIPThe Georgian film and music star Vakhtang Kikabidze, popularly known as Buba, has died in a hospital in Tbilisi at the age of 84.
He was one of the most popular entertainers in the old USSR. Latterly, he was a strong supporter of Ukraine independence.
Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky called him ‘the friend who has always been there, the legend we all looked up to.’
