The great Cavaillé-Coll organ of the Saint-Sulpice church in Paris has a new ‘titulaire’.
He is Karol Mossakowski, 32, from Katowice, serving until recently at the cathedral in Lille.
He will share the prestigious post with Sophie-Véronique Choplin.

Daniel Roth will continue as titular emeritus (playing once a month). With Sophie-Véronique Cauchefer-Choplin and Karol Mossakowski as co-titulars there is a formidable trio of performers and improvisors for the mechanical action Cavaillé-Coll organ.

There are also an two additional organists in charge of the choir organ.
