Just in: Scotland scraps arts cuts
NewsAs a sign of change since Nicola Sturgeon’s resignation, her deputy John Swinney announced today that a 10% cut in the Creative Scotland budget will not now go ahead.
That restores £6.6 million to the Scottish arts sector.
Might Arts Council England follow suit? (Some hopes.)

“scraps arts cuts”? A mixed metaphor to cherish. (Just don’t try to visualize it.)
I won’t see a single penny of it
Bravo, John Swinney!!!!
Maybe they could reform the Scottish Opera chorus, providing they all self-identify as llamas or something.
Trying to keep their leftist friends onboard?
ACE hasn’t had its budget cut though, it just made controversial decisions with how to spend it’s existing pot.
Och aye the noo!!!
Translation please.
