Tuba legend dies, at 68
RIPTubists the world over are mourning the death from glioblastoma of Ed Goldstein, founder of the Peabody Ragtime Ensemble and former head of the musicians union in Baltimore. Ed died peacefully at home in Baltimore, surrounded by family.
He was one of the instrument’s great activists, educators, editors and propagators. They called him Mr Tuba.
