Exclusive: La Scala starts streaming live
NewsWe understand tha La Scala Milan is on the verge of joining the international streaming set.
The new platform is called LaScalaTv (www.lascala.tv) and it will stream live operas, ballets and concerts. Nine cameras have been installed around the house.
Up to now La Scala has been limited to brodcasting three operas a year on RAI.
The first live stream is scheduled to be Verdi’s I vespri siciliani conducted by Fabio Luisi with Marina Rebeka, Piero Pretti and Luca Micheletti, directed by Hugo de Ana.
The price has yet to be determined. It’s probably about 10 Euros a peep.
Bienvenuto.
I read about this several weeks ago on another page. It’s hardly exclusive.
